In line with our commitment to sustainable tourism, we choose to put you up in colonial type hotels who employ local staff (and not only at the menial level). Those smaller but charming hotels have a lower environmental impact and provide a friendly personalized service.

On your arrival in Guatemala City, you will stay overnight in the capital and also on the eve of your departure. The hotels you are going to reside in, are located in one of the best residential zones of the city, not far from the American Embassy. With their lovely garden-patios and their nicely decorated rooms they represent an oasis of tranquillity.

For your accommodation in Antigua, we've chosen ancient colonial homes that have been renovated and transformed into comfortable hotels, with an emphasis on security and personalized service. The hotels are located in the center of Antigua and all have lovely inner patios. Most of the restaurants and shops are all at convenient walking distance. All the rooms include private shower-room with hot water. There are private security boxes inside the rooms or at the reception desk.

HOTEL IN PANAJACHEL, Lake Atitlan,

The Regis Hotel is a family hotel of 25 spacious rooms, giving out to a large and beautiful garden, located in the center of Panajachel. The garden contains two jacuzzis which are filled daily (at 3 p.m.) with natural hot mineral water, enabling you to further pursue your mineral cure on the weekend. Each room has a private shower-room, with hot water. There are safe boxes inside the hotel.

Hotel Jungle Lodge, TIKAL, (optional weekend excursion)

This Jungle Lodge – with its restaurant and swimming pool – is located in the middle of the sub-tropical jungle of TIKAL's National Park. Lodging in one of its spacious bungalows is truly a unique experience, you'll be able to hear the sounds of the howler monkeys and to watch all kinds of exotic birds right where you are.

The bungalows are spacious and are disseminated all over a magnificent tropical garden. They are all all equipped with fans and mosquito-nets. Each bungalow has a private shower-room (with hot water). On its porch you can relax and meditate, surrounded by lush vegetation.

To save energy, electricity is shut off every day from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
