Spa-Med-Holiday offers you an "ALL INCLUSIVE" getaway package of spa, nature, and cultural discovery including: transfer to and from Guatemala City's Airport to your hotel, escort service at your arrival at Guatemala City's Airport, 7 nights Hotel-Accommodations, including breakfast, free lunch during your Wellness Week, various tours in and around Antigua, entrance fees and guides for the museums mentioned in your program, private transportation and free access to our thermal Spa from Monday to Thursday. An English-speaking escort will be accompanying you to our Day-Spa at Lake Amatitlan and during the activities included in our Wellness Program. Our calorie-conscious menus consist of natural unprocessed food, with lots of fruit and vegetables..

Your Wellness Week - 8 days/ 7 nights

YOUR WELLNESS PROGRAM starts with your arrival on Saturday at Guatemala City and ends one week later, on the next Saturday, when you are boarding your return flight home.

Day 1 - Saturday - Welcome

*Arrival at Guatemala City's International Airport “La Aurora”

*Welcome by your English-speaking escort and transfer to your hotel in Guatemala City

Day 2 - Sunday - Cultural Tourism

*Breakfast at your hotel in Guatemala City

*Introduction to the program, Q & A session

*Transfer to your hotel in Antigua (50 min. drive)

*Sightseeing of the most emblematic Spanish colonial monuments and ruins

*Lunch in Antigua

*Late afternoon: private medical visit with English speaking MD (this serves as a basic orientation for your hot-springs program starting on Monday)

*Evening: relax at your leisure or dine in one Antigua's exquisite restaurants

Day 3-5 - Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday

*After your breakfast in Antigua, private transportation to Amatitlan's Day-Spa (50 min. drive)

*Your morning is spent in the thermal pools and sunbathing outside, relaxing inside in the lounge or at the natural juice bar

*If you wish you can pamper yourself with a variety of spa treatments, (soaking in private hot tubs, clay baths, massages, etc.)

*Lunch at the spa

*Afternoon: return to your hotel in Antigua

*Late afternoon & evening: at your leisure to relax, explore Antigua, get medical, dental or cosmetic treatment if you wish, or shop for colorful Maya handicrafts

Day 6 - Thursday

*Breakfast in Antigua and private transportation to Amatitlan's Day Spa

*Spend your time at the Spa as you like: thermal pool circuit outside, relaxing or sunbathing. Click here to look at all the optional spa treatments which are available (soaking in private tubs, massages, clay baths).

*Lunch at the Spa

*Ecotourism: guided walk in the United Nations National Park to see the replicas of Guatemala's most emblematic Maya monuments. Enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of Lake Amatitlan. (This excursion is organized only when it is not raining.)

*Late Afternoon: return to your hotel in Antigua.

*Evening: at your leisure, relax, explore Antigua, get medical, dental or cosmetic treatment if you wish, or do some shopping.

Day 7 - Friday

*Leisure day --- Breakfast in Antigua --- Cultural & Ecotourism: guided tour of a coffee plantation near Antigua, followed by a visit of the museums of Traditional Music and Maya handwoven textiles

*Return to center of Antigua for lunch. --- The rest of the day you are free to complete your visit of Antigua and its cultural highlights (art galleries, museums, religious monuments, colonial mansions), to ascend Volcano Pacaya (optional), or you can choose dental, eye or cosmetic treatments. If you are not staying for one of the optional weekend excursions: we will transfer you this evening back to your hotel in Guatemala City.

Day 8 - Saturday - Departure

*Breakfast at Hotel San Carlos in Guatemala City, and transfer at scheduled hour to Guatemala's International Airport “La Aurora,” to board your return flight home.
